Somatic hip release

Release what your body has been carrying

A guided, body-based practice designed to help you gently release stored tension, stress, and emotion from the hips.

SATURDAY, September 19 | 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM | PARKER, CO

This Practice Is for You If...

You have been feeling tense, overwhelmed, disconnected, emotionally heavy, or simply ready to slow down.

The practice is gentle, accessible, and designed to meet you where you are. No previous yoga, fitness, or somatic experience is required.

Come with an open mind and a willingness to be present with yourself.

What to Expect

During this one-hour experience, your instructor, Jess will guide you through slow, intentional movements focused on the hips and lower body.

The practice is designed to help the nervous system shift out of constant alertness and into a more grounded state of rest and restoration.

You may experience

  • A deeper sense of relaxation

  • Increased awareness of your body

  • Softening through the hips and lower back

  • Shaking, sighing, tears, warmth, or emotion

  • A greater sense of lightness and connection

Every experience is different.

There is no right or wrong way to respond.

Meet Your Guide, jess.

Jessica Larsen | certified somatic practitioner

Jess’s work is rooted in a deep understanding that healing does not happen through the mind alone. With a degree in Social Work, more than a decade of experience in fitness and movement coaching, and as a Certified Somatic Practitioner, she brings together emotional awareness, nervous system support, and intentional movement in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and accessible.

Over the years, Jess saw how often women carried stress, pressure, and emotion in their bodies without realizing it. Many were doing everything they could to feel better - working out, staying busy, pushing through; but still felt tense, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted. That is what led her to somatic work. She teaches this practice because she believes the body deserves a voice in the healing process. Somatic movement creates an opportunity to slow down, notice what is being held, and gently reconnect with the parts of ourselves we may have learned to ignore.

Her intention is not to force a release or promise a specific outcome. It is to create a safe, supportive space where women can listen inward, move at their own pace, and allow the body to soften in its own time.

For Jess, this work is about more than easing tension in the hips. It is about helping women feel at home in their bodies again.

Yoga Pose Outdoors

Your body may be holding more than you realize.

The hips are one of the places many people experience tightness, tension, and emotional holding. Stress, overwhelm, past experiences, and everyday pressure can all influence the way the body braces and protects itself.

This guided practice creates space to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the body in a supportive environment.

You do not need to force a release or make anything happen. You will be invited to move gently, breathe deeply, and allow your body to respond in its own way.

Come exactly as you are.

Leave feeling lighter, softer, and more connected to yourself.
